Creative Cargo

Creative Cargo is a new mobile engagement programme by Glasgow Sculpture Studios (GSS) and local partners based around the geography of the Forth & Clyde Canal. Creative Cargo is a barge and floating sculpture studio that travels along the canal and delivers outreach engagement workshops for communities as well as invites local groups to take over the space and share their usual social setting within the context of the canal.
Glasgow Sculpture Studios’ Creative Cargo programme has had a flurry of activity this Summer with over 25 outreach and GSS-based workshops working with over 450 people from North Glasgow Communities on a host of land and barge based sculpture!
