Eastside Projects: After Dinner Shu Fa at Cricket Pavilion and Pacha Kuti X

Eastside Projects open two new exhibitions this month. In partnership with Grizedale Arts they are delighted to present Yangjiang Group's first solo exhibition in the UK. 'After Dinner Shu Fa at Cricket Pavilion' is a performative installation and events series developing post-planning social shu fa as a space for the hosting, cooking, eating, photographing and watching cricket. In the second gallery David Rowan shows 'Pacha Kuti X' - a new moving image work which explores the hidden, sometimes unknown or forgotten underground environments which make up the sub-infrastructure of Birmingham and the Black Country. Click here for more information.

Exhibition Launch
Friday 16 March, 6–8pm

Join Eastside Projects to celebrate the launch of their two new exhibitions. This promises to be a great evening with activity programmed across Digbeth by the We Are Eastside partners including exhibitions at Grand Union and Vivid and screenings from Flatpack Festival in various venues including Ikon Gallery’s Slowboat.

Yangjiang Group: Dinner
As part of their performative installation Yangjiang Group will host a free chinese meal for thirty guests during the exhibition launch with food by Golden Pond Restaurant. Booking is essential. For more information and details of how to book email [email protected].
