Hole Story - Open Call for Artists

The Dig Collective have announced an open call for arts interested in engaging with and responding to a unique space in Hackney, East London: an 8sq metre cubic hole dug into the large garden of a property slated for imminent demolition.
As part of an ongoing programme of summer projects, the artists responsible for digging the hole are inviting wide-ranging proposals to respond to its specific condition.
A maximum of 4 projects will be selected, covering the period between the 18th July and the 21st September. The duration of each project is flexible and it will be deliberated by the specificities of each chosen submission in relation to the other project selected.
