Park Art in Haringey, 25th July-23rd September 2012
PARK ART in Haringey launches at Bruce Castle Park on 25th July, bringing an alternative, multi-venue sculpture park to the London Borough of Haringey. A nine metre tall classical lion ‘Scaffolding Sculpture’ by Ben Long will be unveiled on the lawn of the 16th Century Bruce Castle Museum, and nearby, a new light installation by Martin Richman will respond to the cylindrical interior of the Museum’s Hawk Tower accompanied by a soundscape by Solina Hi-Fi’s Charlie Kerr that gives a fractured, contemporary twist to a Tudor melody.
Public access to both installations will be from 10.30am – 6.30pm every day from 26th July – 23rd September at Bruce Castle Park, Lordship Lane, London, N17 8NU.
PARK ART in Haringey is curated by UP Projects, working in partnership with Haringey Council and supported by Arts Council England.
