A Small Cinema, Moston: 27th October - 4th November 2012
From Saturday 27th October until Sunday 4th November, A Small Cinema at Moston is running a 9 day festival of film, workshops and special events housed in its very own purpose built 70 seater cinema in the Miner Community Art and Music Centre, Teddington Road, Moston, North Manchester.
There is something for everyone: Children’s matinées, local docs, archive screenings, creative workshops, horror, comedy, classics, African cinema and more.
All events are FREE, but some workshops require booking. Contact Sam ([email protected] / 07984 619 677) for more info.
Originally conceived as a showcase event for film-makers in the North West, A Small Cinema is currently being developed as a community engagement project by artist collective Re-Dock, facilitating communities in hosting their own short film events. A Small Cinema has been hand built by the dedication and hard work of local volunteers and kind donations from local businesses.
