Coup de Ville is an exhibition and city festival of contemporary art taking place from September 13 until October 13, 2013. The title Coup de Ville refers to the idea of an 'occupied city'—in an aesthetical way. The artworks are realised for and presented in museums and historic, domestic, and public locations in the centre of Sint-Niklaas: a small but ambitious and dynamic town between the classical cultural cities Antwerp and Ghent in Belgium.

Artists/projects: Carlos Aires (Spain), Art of the Loom, Ben Benaouisse (Morocco / Belgium), Thomas Bogaert (Belgium), Jessie Brennan (UK), Tim Breukers (The Netherlands), Wim De Schamphelaere (Belgium), Hadassah Emmerich (The Netherlands / Indonesia), Krisztina Fazekas-Kielbassa (Hungary / Germany), Jeanno Gaussi (Afghanistan / Germany), Nova Jiang (China / USA), Eric Joris / Crew (Belgium), Gabriel Rico Jiménez (Mexico), Matthieu Laurette (France), Nadia Marcin (Germany / USA), Sofie Muller (Belgium), New Sculpture Department (Netherlands / Belgium), Laura Nsengiyumva (Rwanda / Belgium), Pavilion of the hidden sculptures, Lorenzo Quintanilla (Netherlands), Lennart Rieder (Germany), Meggy Rustamova (Georgia), Karen Sargsyan (Armenia / Netherlands), Adrien Tirtiaux (Belgium), Berkay Tuncay (Turkey), Greet Van Autgaerden (Belgium), Sven Verhaeghe (Belgium), Karen Vermeren (Belgium), Katleen Vinck (Belgium), Zhen Xu (China)
