MADE: Beyond Public Art

March 24, 2015, 9:00 am

'Beyond Public Art' will continue MADE’s tradition of bringing artists and built environment designers and decision makers together in a context of critical thinking about placemaking. The event on Tuesday the 24th of March 2015, will ask questions about the added value of involving an artist in a built environment project, look at the contributions of artists to the built environment as a whole, ask what works well, what not so well and how we can go beyond the traditional definition of public art still applied by so many.

With comment from leading practitioners and perspectives from those involved in this process, from all point of views including artists, commissioners, academia, local authorities, developers and more
