Join us for the first day of the Biennial and a great line up of panel discussions, each exploring a different angle of our theme 'Agents of Change: Photography and The Politics of Space'.
Topics addressed will include: What happens when photography is shown out of established gallery and publishing contexts? and, How have artists addressed classified and government controlled spaces in their work?
Speakers include BPB12 artists: Edmund Clark, Ronnie Close, Omer Fast, Julian Germain, Jason Larkin and Thomson & Craighead alongside BPB12 curators Celia Davies and Ben Burbridge. Panel discussions will be chaired by TJ Demos, David Batty and Julian Stallabrass.
Open to all, the day will be suitable for students, practitioners and anyone who wants to find out more about the thinking behind this year's festival.
