A one-day conference on the use of video in community development work

Organised by The Participatory Practitioners for Change and the Creative Communities Unit of Staffordshire University
There will be plenary discussions led by Chris High (Open University), Su Braden and Ray Johnson (Staffordshire University). There are two sets of parallel sessions exploring different examples of the use of video in a range of different situations.
The conference will be interesting to people who have never used video and also to those who regularly use video in their work.
The focus of the conference is on the issues of genuine participation and how local people can take control of participatory work where video making is involved.
