Sustainable Futures
March 14, 2016, 1:00 pm
Julie's Bicycle will host an event at Ikon Gallery in Birmingham on Monday the 14th of March 2016 for Sustainable Futures. The event for creative organisations, artists and those working in environmental sustainability in a cultural context, will discuss placemaking and reimagining heritage sites, producing work sustainably - especially outdoor work for Carnival and Street Festivals - and how culture can contribute to the transition to a low carbon city.
More details to be confirmed in the coming weeks, but registration for the event will start at 1.30pm and run until 5.30pm, followed by networking drinks from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
This event is funded by support from Arts Council England. It is part of a series of events and webinars that support creative organisations and artists to rethink their work, creative practice and operations in the context of environmental challenges, and the opportunities inherent in change.
