Trailer, 2011, premiere and discussion
Thursday 20th October
5.30pm – 7pm
Harris Museum & Art Gallery, Preston

On behalf of In Certain Places, we would like to invite you to the premiere of Trailer, 2011, by international artist Shezad Dawood.

Trailer, 2011 is an experimental cut of Dawood’s forthcoming Piercing Brightness feature film, created from selected footage which was shot in and around Preston during July. The full-length feature film will be released in early 2012 and will be shown in Preston at a free public event as part of the Preston Guild celebrations next year.

The screening will be followed by a discussion between Shezad Dawood and In Certain Places curator, Charles Quick, and questions from the audience. Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to view Dawood’s solo exhibition, also entitled Piercing Brightness, which continues until 26th November.

The event is free, but places are limited.  To reserve a place, please e-mail Elaine Speight:  [email protected]
