A School Is A Building With A School In It
Architecture and education are vast fields of thought and practice, deeply rooted in core conceptions of the public good. Throughout modern times, they have been the two cultural practices most invested with social hope — and, consequently, the two practices most subject to perceptions of social failure.
For this talk, curator Dominic Willsdon will explore how an alliance between architectural and educational thinking can lead to valuable new ways of curating education, with reference to his recent curatorial/educational projects in San Francisco and Porto Alegre.
