Gloucestershire County Council Register of Public Artists has been created to serve the County Council's "Percent for Art" programme of commissioning works by artists in strategic capital developments. Artists have been selected following national advertisement to suit the work expected in the programme, such as schools, libraries, highways, cycle paths and so on. Increasingly artists are involved in rural and urban design and masterplanning teams. You can search on the website to see artists listed and can contact the artists direct. In case of difficulty or for advice on Gloucestershire County artist networks, ring the Arts Development Office.
