Work: Building Practice 1999 -

Ongoing collaboration with Steve Jensen (formerly of Juggernaut) to develop and undertake projects in a wide range of areas including exhibition, bar, retail and installations.

Projects include:

Elemental - Leeds Sept 99

Ongoing design development for the third site for the Northern Bar & Restaurant Chain. Opening scheduled Aug 2000.

Design proposal for the refurbishment and re-branding of an existing Bar /Nightclub

Juggernaut 95-99

Partner in a smallmulti-disciplinary design group. Projects developed with astrong conceptual approach, and undertaken with aparticular concern for the realities and process ofproduction, enabled by our running our own prototype and manufacturing facility. Fulfilled a key role in developing conceptual proposals into realised projects, particularly in the areas of exhibition and site specific installations.

Projects include:

Elemental -Manchester & Lancaster Oct 97 - Dec 98 -

Design and construction of the first of a chain of new conceptbar/restaurants.

Vivienne Westwood - London.

Design development and manufacture of retail units and shopfittings for stores and concessions in the UK and Far East.

Highland Gallery - Inverness, Nov 97

Remodelling the reception area of an Art Gallery as part of a collaborative project with the Edward Marshall Trust.

Geffrye Museum - 100% Design, Sept 97

Design of a re-usable exhibition stand to promote The Geffrye Design Centre as part of the museum's expansion programme.

Richoux Coffee Co. - Piccadilly May 97

Development of the first in a chain of gourmet coffee houses.

Interactive Performance - ICA, May 96

Collaboration with Bruce Gillchrist & Jonny Bradley to develop interactive installation structure for dream-reading software.

Crossbar - London, May 95 - Design development of 4000 sq ft music lounge bar for the Mean Fiddler Organisation.

Furniture design 94 - 95

Independent work on a range prototype furniture designs. Prototypes for storage furniture developed into the 'box set' furniture collection, manufactured in the UK and sold through The Conran Shop, Libertys, Space and Gallerie Artificial in Germany. A follow-on range is being produced and sold by E&Y in Japan.

Freelance/Independent work

Project based freelance work, including teaching and competition proposals.

Projects include:

Rem Koolhaas - Living / Airports Exhibition - ICA, June -July 99

Design development with Architects Urban Salon for exhibition in collaboration with Rem Koolhaas/OMA and the ICA, including management and site supervision through to completion.
